Mary Genevieve Peiffer age 96 of Fairfield died at 12:32 P.M. Monday at the Jefferson County Health Center.
Born September 5, 1913 at Marceline, Missouri, she was the daughter of
Albert F. and Rosalie Gelski Robinson.
Genevieve grew up in the Brookfield, Missouri community and graduated from the Immaculate Conception High School.
She married Ernest Vincent Peiffer on August 13, 1934 at Brookfield and they farmed Southeast of Brighton until moving to Fairfield in 1955.
Genevieve was a homemaker and member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield and St. Mary coffee club and St. Mary study club.
Deceased family member include her husband on October 13, 1980, a granddaughter Jolene Nelson and 3 brothers: Francis, Eugene and James Howard Robinson.
Surviving are her daughter Judy Nelson of Fairfield, 1 granddaughter plus 2 sisters Marguerite Brockman of Brookfield, Mo. and Joan Main of Bucklin, MO. , and 1 brother
Leon Robinson of Columbia, MO.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield with Father Stephen Page officiating.
Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery at East Pleasant Plain.
A Rosary will be recited at 4:00 p.m. Friday at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield,
Followed by a visitation from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. until a Wake Service at 7:00 P.M.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary Welcoming Family of Faith or to the American Heart Association.
Arrangements are in the care of the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.
