| Peggy DeLane (Coleman) Ransford, 57, of rural Princeton, passed from this life on December 6th, 2008 at 9:22 P.M. at the Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville. She was born February 1, 1951 in rural Princeton to S. Arthur Coleman and Barbara Coleman. She graduated from Wood Memorial High School in 1969 and from ITT Business Institute in 1970. She retired from Gibson General Hospital in 1997. She had a passion for Genealogy, tracing her family line back to the 1600’s and volunteering her time at the Princeton Public Library genealogy department. She was a member of the Princeton Church of Christ, a loving mother, doting grandma, cherished daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her son, grandson and daughter-in-law, Ryan, Coleman and Regina Ransford of Princeton, IN; her mother, Barbara Coleman of Princeton, IN; her sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Thomas Blanton of Princeton, IN; her sister and brother-in-law, Vanessa and Wesley Beasley of Princeton, IN; her nephew and his wife, Jared and Jean Blanton of Newburgh, IN; her nephew, Justin Blanton of Evansville, IN; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 P.M. Tuesday, December 9th at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, December 10th at Colvin Funeral Home, with Brother Jon O’Keefe officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery east of Princeton. She was preceded in death by her father, S. Arthur Coleman and her mother-in-law, Gilberta Ransford. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
