Mason City-Rebecca “Becky" (Hull) Pierce, 51, of 516 2nd Street Southeast, Clarion, IA, died Friday, (November 28, 2008) at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 2, 2008, at Bride Colonial Chapel, 110 Spring Street, Manly, with Pastor Tim Platt and Pastor Warren Curry officiating. Inurnment will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Manly.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at Bride Colonial Chapel.

Memorials may be directed to the Becky Pierce Memorial Fund.

Becky was born July 16, 1957, the daughter of Orville and Mary (Doebel) Hagen, in Mason City, IA. She attended North Central Schools in Manly. She married Larry Hull and to this union four children were born, Larry Wayne, Janis Jo, Amanda Jo and Marcus Lee. She then married Lloyd Pierce in June 2008 in Clarion, Iowa. Becky worked at Careage Management in Clarion where she was a CNA.

Becky loved her job, her children, and her “adopted” children. She also collected teddy bears, and loved to listen to music, especially Janis Joplin. Caring for others was Becky’s passion.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Pierce, Clarion, her children, Amanda Hull, Albert Lea, and Larry Wayne Hull, Clarion, her grandchildren, Jaidyn Hull, Mason City, and Brandi Neve, Mason City, her mother, Mary Hagen, Manly, her ex husband, Larry Hull, Clarion, her mothers in law, Betty Abrams, LaCrosse, WI, and Arlene Hull, Arkansas, her siblings, Tom (Dorothy) Hagen, Northwood, Knute Hagen, Portland, Oregon, and Sarah Hall and Harold Thompson, Annandale, Minnesota, her aunts, Monica Hagen, Mason City, Karen Payne, Northwood, Leone Christianson, Mason City, and bonnie Doebel, Clear Lake, numerous nieces and nephews, her honorary sons, Jeff, Matt, Patrick Bruce, Arone, Smurf and the list goes on……

Becky was preceded in death by her father, Orville, brother, Marcus Hagen, four sisters, Sharon Hrubetz, Elizabeth Nitcher, Mary Rork, Monica Nitcher, her son Marcus Hall and her daughter Janis Hull, her mother in law, Faye Jones, and her father in law Wayne Hall.
