| Shirley Ann Carlos, 71. Passed away peacefully August 26, 2008 at Infinia Health Care with her family at her bedside. Shirley was born in Layton, UT on November 9, 1936 to Oscar and Rosie Carlos. She was 10th of 12 children.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She had been a resident of Infinia for 39 years where she met a lot of very special people. She worked at Inable Industries were she received many awards. She was also in the Special Olympics where she won many medals. She had a special talent for hand work and she could knit or crochet anything you wanted. She is survived by two brothers, Lamar (Dee) Carlos, Ted Carlos, one sister Pat Small, and her care giver and sister in law Nelda Carlos, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and four sisters. We wish to give special thanks to the staff at Infinia Health Care, and Hospice of Utah for the care and love they showed Shirley. We would also like to thank a special friend Betty Hunter, who would pick Shirley up every Wednesday and take her shopping at Wal-Mart. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, August 29, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Leavitt’s Mortuary 836 36th Street Ogden. Friends and family may call from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on August 29, 2008 at the mortuary. | ||
