Frank P. (Gabe) Brown Age 88



Frank Passed from this life suddenly and peacefully at home on May 30, 2008.

He was a member of the Cement masons local in Wilm. De. For more than 50 years. Frank belonged to the Pottstown V.F.W. 780 and American Legion Post

134 for 50 years, member of the 83rd Division assoc. of the Boston Chapter.

Frank participated in the Battle of Normandy. He received the purple Heart, good conduct, European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 1 Bronze Star,

American Campaign and World War II victory Medals.

Frank was a cement mason and did cement work for 50 years after WWII. He worked for the Smith Pools and other companies working on buildings and bridges.

He was a season ticket holder for the Philadelphia Eagles. Frank also loved boxer dogs.



Survived by His Beloved wife of 25 years Anne Cunningham Brown (nee Barry).

Step sons John J., Stephen and Lawrence Cunningham. Step daughters Anne-Marie McCullough and Kate Houpt. Brother Louis Brown. Also survived by 6 Grandchildren. Predeceased by his first wife Josephine Clark who died in 1977.



Mass 10:00am Thursday, June 5, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 7 Sharpley Rd. Wilm. De. Calling 8:30 to 9:30 am. at Rigby Funeral Home of Chadds Ford. 232 Wilm.-West Chester Pk., Chadds Ford, Pa.



Interment Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown, Pa.
