Madge Margaret Shahan Williams, 95, of Campground Road, Tunnelton, WV passed Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the home of her daughter, Janet Myers, with her four children at her bedside. She was born on September 6, 1912, in Fairmont, WV, a daughter of the late Henry Martin and Ida May Wolfe Shahan. Madge was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and a faithful member of the Camp Chapel United Methodist Church. Madge is survived by her son, Tom Williams of Lewisburg, WV; three daughters and their husbands, Alice and Tom Hobbs of Mt. Desert, ME; Ida May and Sam Spessard of Sevierville, TN; and Janet and Floyd Myers of Howesville, WV. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Madge was also preceded in death by her husband, Carine H. Williams and an infant brother Paul Martin Shahan. The Family thanks the Preston County Home Health, Senior Center and Hospice Care for their wonderful care and support.
