| | | Robert J. Stusik, age 74, of Omro, formerly of Milwaukee, died peacefully August 15, 2012, at home surrounded by the love of his family. Bob was born July 14, 1938, in Milwaukee, the son of John and Regina (Pieczynski) Stusik. He had served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged on July 31, 1963. He married the former Janice Marie Redzinski on April 30, 1961. She preceded him in death May 16, 2002. Bob had worked for Silgan Packaging and retired in 2002. Following his retirement he moved to Omro for the fishing and serenity. When he wasn’t fishing, he enjoyed working in his garden.
Bob is loved and will be missed by his children, Sandra Stockhausen and Joseph (Rosie) Stusik; grandchildren, Annie, Kerri, Kristyn, T.J., Gabby and Robert; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Aislyn, Kierah and Leah. He is further survived by other relatives, his best friends, Cheryl and Dave, his fishing partner and his beloved” Kitty.”
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 7:00 p.m., and then again on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel, 7301 W. Nash St., Milwaukee from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the committal service at 1:00 p.m.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Heartland Hospice for the compassionate care given to Bob and the rest of his family. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bob’s name may be directed to Heartland Hospice, 63 W. Pioneer Rd., Fond du Lac, WI 54935
