| | | Gary L. Stone, age 47, of the Town of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 8, 2009, at his home. Gary was born in Oshkosh, on December 22, 1961, the son of Leonard and Marie (Radde) Stone. He graduated from Omro High School. Gary will be fondly remembered for his love of flying, deer and elk hunting, watching car races, and playing cards and games with his family. He owned and operated Stone Aerial Applicators, Inc. for 26 years.
Gary is survived by his parents, Leonard and Marie Stone of the Town of Omro; his daughter, Amelia of Omro; Amelia’s mother, Jennifer of Omro; brother, Jeff (Shelley James) Stone of Casa Grande, AZ; sister, Stacy (Pat) Kafer of Eureka; nieces and nephews, Joe, Jon, Kyle, Jacob and Karlee; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
In respect to Gary’s memory, the family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and then again on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at the Waukau United Methodist Church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at the Eureka Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
