Henry "Burt" Strassheim


Henry B. Strassheim Marine Corps Veteran Sold Cars Henry "Burt" Strassheim, age 80, of Buffalo, died Friday, June 19, 2009 at Millard Fillmore Hospital, after a long illness. Born in Buffalo, he was the son of the late Henry and Veronica (nee Rechtenwald) Strassheim and was a Marine Corps Veteran of WWII. Burt was a car salesman in North Tonawanda and Brigantine, New Jersey, before retiring. He was the brother of the late Robert (late Peggy) Strassheim, who died October 11, 2005. He is survived by 2 nieces, Sabrina A. Strassheim and Mary Lisa Strassheim; and a nephew, Robert "RJ" Strassheim. Also surviving are his former wife, Maryann (nee LaPome) Strassheim, several great nieces and nephews, and Marla. Services will be cared for privately at the convenience of the family, followed by interment at Bath National Cemetery in Bath, New York. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Adam and Seymour Streets, Tonawanda.
