Mildred L. Rohr Member of St. Francis Parish Mildred (nee Dittman) Rohr, age 88, of North Tonawanda, formerly of Tonawanda, died Thursday, May 28, 2009 after a long illness. Born in Buffalo, she was the daughter of the late John and Frieda (nee Frey) Dittman and had been a resident of the Tonawandas for more than 40 years. Mrs. Rohr was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish and loved to crochet, do crafts and garden. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Rohr, who died June 7, 1984. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Marilyn (the late Loren) Rachow (Patrick Dailey) and Mary L. (Paul) VanDermeer, both of North Tonawanda; and her dear grandchildren, Michael Rachow of North Carolina, and Michelle Rachow of Wheatfield. Also surviving are a loving great-granddaughter, Ann Marie Rachow, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Sunday only at the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Adam and Seymour Streets, Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Monday at St. Francis of Assisi Church on Broad Street in Tonawanda. Friends invited. Entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.
