Darryl N. Bundy, age 52, of Niagara Falls, formerly of Tonawanda, died Sunday, July 30, 2006 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, after a long illness. Born February 22, 1954 in North Tonawanda, he was the son of the late William Bundy and had been a resident of the Tonawandas for the greater part of his life, before moving to Niagara Falls in 1998. A 1972 graduate of Tonawanda Senior High School, he had been employed at Plesh Industries in Buffalo before retiring in 1990 due to illness.

He is survived by his wife, Alvira (nee Hayes) Bundy; four daughters, Patricia (Dave) Smith of Ransomville, Alicia (Craig) Sager of Niagara Falls, Kimberly Bundy of Niagara Falls, and Darryl Kenslea of Niagara Falls; his mother, Virginia Chutko of Tonawanda; two brothers, Wayne (Karen) Bundy of Tonawanda and William (Carol) Bundy of Tonawanda; and two sisters, Bertha Nugent of Tonawanda and Florence (Edward) Bernhard of Florida. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Alicia, Craig and Larry Smith and Angel Sager, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday only at the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Adam and Seymour Streets, Tonawanda. If desired, memorials to the family are preferred.
