Ruth N. Alliger
Lifelong Tonawanda Resident
Ruth (nee Webb) Alliger, age 103, of Tonawanda, died Saturday, December 21, 2002, at St. Luke's Presbyterian Nursing Home in Buffalo. Born July 15, 1899, in Tonawanda, she was the daughter of the late John and Katherine (nee McDermott) Webb and had been a lifelong resident of Tonawanda. Mrs. Alliger was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. She was the wife of the late Frank I. Alliger and mother of the late Frank "Ike" Alliger.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Robert) Zonneville and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 1-3 PM Thursday, December 26, at the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Adam & Seymour Streets, Tonawanda, where a prayer service will be held at 3 PM Thursday. Friends invited. If desired, memorials to Hospice Buffalo are preferred by the family.
