Joyce B. Bostwick

Joyce (nee Hamilton) Bostwick, age 70, of Tonawanda, died Friday, October 7, 2005 at Buffalo General Hospital, after a brief illness. Born April 2, 1935 in Toronto, Ontario, she had been a resident of Tonawanda for more than 45 years, and was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Tonawanda. Mrs. Bostwick worked as a nurses’ aide before retiring, and in recent years was a devoted caregiver to her husband and grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband, Earl Bostwick of Tonawanda; loving mother of three children, Kenneth Bostwick of Tonawanda, Moira (Gary) Henderson of Wheatfield, and Ella (Keith) Furman of North Tonawanda; treasured grandmother of Adam Dallmann, and Ian and Connor Henderson; and loving sister to Monty (Linda) Collins of Barrie, Ontario. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 6-8 PM on Tuesday and after 10 AM on Wednesday at the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Adam and Seymour Streets, Tonawanda, where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday; the Rev. Alice McDermott officiationg. Friends invited. Interment will be cared for privately at Evergreen Lawn Cemetery in Akron.
