David M. Ashe

Air Force Veteran of Vietnam War

David M. Ashe, age 51, of Tonawanda, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Born May 22, 1953 in Batavia, he was the son of the late John Ashe and had been a resident of Tonawanda for most of his life. An Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War, Mr. Ashe was employed at Mokon Industries in Buffalo.

He is survived by his wife, Rose (nee Smith) Ashe of Tonawanda; two sons, Daniel (Denise) Perlinger of Buffalo and Larry VanCuran of Franklinville; two daughters, Crissy (Joseph) Coleman of Lackawanna and Alice Jean Ashe; his mother, Alice (nee Twardowski) Lucore of Lockport; two brothers, John (Kathy) Ashe of Pendleton and Gary (Margaret) Ashe of Sanborn; and a sister, Karen Lepsch of West Seneca. Also surviving are four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Thursday only at the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Adam and Seymour Streets, Tonawanda, where services will be held at 8 PM Thursday; the Rev. Msgr. Thomas Crane officiating. Friends invited.
