Helen P. Batt
Lifelong resident of the Tonawandas
Helen (nee Perry) Batt, age 86, of North Tonawanda, died Thursday, March 28, 2002 at Crestwood Health Care Facility. Born in Pembroke, she was the daughter of the late William and Cora (nee Franz) Perry and was a lifelong resident of the Tonawandas. She was a past member of the Sets 'n Singles Group, and enjoyed traveling and playing bridge. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles. She was the wife of the late Kenneth R. Batt, who died in 1975.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth (Terry) Batt of West Palm Beach, FL; two daughters, Barbara (Robert) Kijowski of Las Vegas, NV, and Beverly Mills of Clarence Center, NY; and seven grandchildren. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2-4 & 7-8:30 PM Monday at the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Adam and Seymour Streets, Tonawanda, where funeral services will be held at 8:30 PM Monday. Friends invited. Interment will be cared for privately at White Chapel Cemetery in the Town of Amherst. If desired, memorials to the Alzheimers Association, 1284 French Road, Depew, NY 14043, are preferred by the family.
