Harold J. Barber
Harold J. Barber, age 79, of Buffalo, died Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Deaconess Center in Buffalo, after a long illness. Born in Hudson, New York, he was the son of the late Joseph and Lena (nee Gohl) Barber and had worked as a senior ticket agent for United Airlines in Buffalo, before retiring.
He is survived by his two daughters, Susan (James) Eaton and Kathleen (David) Brown, both of Ohio; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A service will be held at 11 AM Friday at Acacia Park Cemetery Chapel, 4215 North Tonawanda Creek Road in Pendleton. Friends invited. If desired, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association, 1284 French Road, Depew, NY 14043-4882, are preferred. Arrangements entrusted to the care of the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Tonawanda, New York.
