Mary Jean Bruce
Lifelong Resident of Tonawandas
Mary Jean (nee Neddy) Bruce, age 51, of North Tonawanda, died Friday, December 7, 2007 at Hospice Buffalo, after a brief illness. Born in North Tonawanda, she was the daughter of the late Edmund Neddy and was a lifelong resident of the Tonawandas. She had been employed in the Optical Department at WalMart in Amherst..
She is survived by two sons, Willard Bruce and Rory Bruce, both of North Tonawanda; her mother, Regina (nee Mahoney) Neddy of Tonawanda; and four brothers, Thomas Neddy of Tonawanda, Timothy (Susan) Neddy of Tampa, Florida, Edmund Neddy of Buffalo, and Joseph (Sheila) Neddy of Amherst. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call from 3-6 PM on Monday only at the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Adam and Seymour Streets, Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Tuesday at St. Francis Chapel on Adam Street in Tonawanda. Friends invited. Interment will be cared for privately at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.
